Until recently, International buyers were not a large part of our business until recently.
Substantial overseas buyer enquiry has resulted in Alex marketing to Expats living in London, UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan and the USA using targetted Facebook marketing.
We are now building strong interest from Expats who are looking to move back to Australia or who wish to have a secure investment here.
We are able to utilise the latest digital technology to present the properties well in advance of those buyers arrival in Australia, so they don’t waste their precious time.
Some Expats and International buyers choose to purchase over the Internet based on the information provided: videos, drone videos, 3D tours, floor plans and photographs.
Recently, an expat was relaxing in Singapore in an airline airport lounge and he saw one of our Facebook videos for a property on Sovereign Islands. He made contact with Alex and as a result came by aircraft to The Gold Coast and purchased the property. Alex has many sales that have resulted from expats living overseas who are choosing to return and purchase property.
In the past 12 months, the Chinese market has been active however now we are seeing renewed interest from UK and European buyers. There is also strong interest from Interstate buyers as they cash up in Sydney and Melbourne and take advantage of this Gold Coast ‘value for money market’.
